The audio of this presentation was made on The Tar Heel Emergency net (meets nightly at 1930 Eastern on 3.923 Mhz) and was simulcast on several VHF/UHF networks. We don't know how many listeners we had worldwide, but the website of N4TAB (where this file was originally located) had about 2,000 downloads of this pdf. Guess a few were interested.
Geology is an active daily process that continues to define our planet - just think of the Asian Tsunami, which was the result of tension relief between two great "plates" under the sea.
